What network coverage is available outside NEWHVN’s primary service area?

NEWHVN works with multiple preferred provider networks to obtain access outside our primary service area. The employer/payor has the flexibility to access and utilize any health care network they wish outside NEWHVN’s primary service area. Other health care networks include: Beechstreet, Multiplan, Health EOS, Interplan Health Group (IHG), etc.

What third party administrators (TPAs) are available to an employer?

NEWHVN works closely with local third party administrators to ensure our panel of providers is available to any employer who wishes to utilize NEWHVN’s network. The employer may select any third party administrator to oversee the benefit plan and comply with the terms of the agreement executed by NEWHVN and the employer/payor. 

How does NEWHVN differ from the existing health care networks?

  • NEWHVN providers have a strong history of working together to improve quality. All NEWHVN providers are required to participate in our clinical quality measures, report health care outcomes and evaluate the delivery of care.
  • NEWHVN’s Quality Committee and Medical Director are responsible for ensuring performance benchmarks and clinical efficiency requirements are met.
