The use of an electronic health record allows for a seamless transfer of patient information between NEWHVN providers. Records are kept in a secure protected repository which can be accessed by member providers. Medical errors are reduced, care improves, and costs are contained.

 

Utilizing clinical results is the difference. NEWHVN tracks and reports on clinical performance based on a set of critical criteria. Feedback to both the health care provider and the health care payor ensures compliance with best practices and aligns our efforts to effect positive change. Through this monitoring and reporting, NEWHVN participants have more tools to sustain changes in behavior, culture and cost of care.
